Dividend Increase – CAT

Another dividend increase in the books!

Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) just declared $0.78 quarterly dividend. This is an increase of 1.3% from $0.77.

I own 29 shares, so this will increase my annual dividend income by $1.16 to $3,687.06

I updated both my Passive Income page as well as my Portfolio page to reflect the changes.

My Thoughts:

I am happy with my holding of CAT and do not plan to add more shares anytime soon unless there is a big drop in price.

CAT did not increase their dividend last year and the year before it was increased by 10% and three years ago 16.7%.

I find the stock to be Overvalued and I would not recommend anyone to buy at this time.
