 McDonald’s Corporation (MCD) just declared $1.01 quarterly dividend. This is an increase of 7.4% from $0.94.

I own 12 shares, so this will increase my annual dividend income by $3.36 to $4,194.86

I updated both my Passive Income page as well as my Portfolio page to reflect the changes.

My Thoughts:

I am very happy with this increase. I was actually expecting something like 5%. This is a very welcome news. The last dividend increase was 5.6% in 2016. The year before that it was only 5.1% increase. I wanted to add more shares when it was in the low $90, but I did not have money at the time. Too many great companies to buy and very little capital.

MCD has been doing great for me. I am up 62.80% and this is not including the dividends throughout the years. I expect MCD to continue to grow its dividend in the mid-single digit.

At this moment, MCD is overvalued and I would not be buying any shares at this time. I am currently collecting its dividend to purchase other stocks.
