My Thoughts:
What an amazing first two months of the year it has been. In the first two months, I have received 14 dividend increases. Guess what?! February is still not over!!
I decided to put this post in this format because I was running behind on writing my dividend increases posts. This way I can give you guys my thoughts about the dividend increases as well as what I think about the company at this present moment.
T. Rowe Price Group (TROW)
Lets first talk about the biggest and most surprising increase made by TROW. This 22.8% increase came as a complete shocker. CFRA has a 3-year projected earnings growth of 11% for the company. Not only that, the TROW 3-year and 5-year dividend growth rate is 9% and 10.9% respectively.
As you can see this increase was a great surprise.
I find the company to be fair to slightly overvalued. I would like to see the stock price get under $100 before I consider buying up more shares.
Union Pacific Corporation (UNP)
This increase from UNP was just inline on what I expected from them. The 3-year and 5-year dividend growth rates are 11.2% and 14.8% respectively. CFRA has a projected 3-year earnings growth of 10%. Therefore, this dividend increase is very much what I expected and Thank you very much UNP.
I currently find Union Pacific to be overvalued and I would like to see the stock price be under $110 before considering purchasing more shares.
Gilead Sciences, Inc. (GILD)
Gilead has a short dividend history as it has only been increasing its dividend for 3 years. The reason why I own this company is that I find it to be undervalued and the company has a whole list of products in their pipeline. This will increase revenues as well as earnings. This will, in turn, allow the company to increase their dividends.
I still see the company to be undervalued, but I would like to buy more shares in the mid to low $70.
Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM)
This increase of just 4.7% from Archer Daniels was a little bit meh. I was expecting something in the mid to high single-digit territory. For example, the 3-year and 5-year dividend growth rate is 10.1% and 12.8% respectively.
I find the company to be a bit fair valued to overvalued at this moment. I would like to see it fall in the mid $35 before I would consider buying more shares. In the meantime, I will continue to HOLD and collect the dividend that the company sends my way.
