Passive Income for August 2019

ID-100438362-300x300 Passive Income for August 2019Once a month I like to talk about my total passive income for the month. I do this to track how much is coming in. Once I get over $2,000 a month in passive income, I will be in a great place. $2,000 a month is my crossover point. At that point, that money will be enough to cover all my expenses.

Here we have my passive income for the month of August.

The best way I keep track of my dividends and other income is by using Personal Capital. I highly recommended for you to sign up and start using their service. It is completely free and extremely helpful.

Taxable Account: $770.41

Retirement Account: $106.79

Rental: $700

Total: $1,577.20

I updated my Passive Income page for the month.

Passive Income Report

WOW, over $1500 in passive income. I am very happy and blessed to be in this position. My short term goal is to hit the $2000 a month in passive income. At this point, I would hit FIRE. I think I should get to this point in another year to two years.

My taxable account saw a huge increase of 83% compared to last year August. That is outstanding growth year over year (YoY). For the most part, every month has seen average growth between 30-40%. Needless to say, this year has been going great for me. I hope the same for you.

This month I think I will cross the $1000 in income in my taxable account for the first time. I am very excited about that.

Nothing new to report in my taxable account. However, it did see modest growth of 11% YoY. I am happy about that.

Rental income continues to be great. My tentent already paid me for this month rent. So things are great here.

Overall, I am very happy about the August report. Hopefully this time next year, I will be even closer to the $2000 a month average mark.
