Once a month I like to talk about my total passive income for the month. I do this to track how much is coming in. Once I get over $2,000 a month in passive income, I will be in a great place. $2,000 a month is my crossover point. At that point, that money will be enough to cover all my expenses.
Here we have my passive income for the month of April.
The best way I keep track of my dividends and other income is by using Personal Capital. I highly recommended for you to sign up and start using their service. It is completely free and extremely helpful.
Taxable Account: $428.39
Retirement Account: $54.26
I updated my Passive Income page for the month.
Passive Income Report
Another month in the books. Last month saw a passive income of $1,182.65. I am loving the new totals passing the $1000 mark every month now. Last month saw the highest monthly passive income ever.
My taxable account saw an almost 100% increase from last year totals for April. Year over Year(YoY) it saw an increase of 97.40%. That is an outstanding increase in YoY. Actually, this month I expect a high YoY increase as well, something in the neighborhood of 75%.
My Retirement account had a modest YoY increase of only 7.83%. I am not adding any fresh capital to this account, so this kind of growth is expected.
My rental income continues to be consistent and reliable. I have already made over $20,000 in rental income in 2years and 5 months. That is $20,000 in my pocket for the past 2 years for not lifting a finger. Man, I love passive income.
Overall, it was a great month.
I am so fortunate and blessed to be in this position.
How was your month of April been? Better than expected? Leave me a comment.
