Once a month I like to talk about my total passive income for the month. I do this to track how much is coming in. Once I get over $2,000 a month in passive income, I will be in a great place. $2,000 a month is my crossover point. At that point, that money will be enough to cover all my expenses.
Here we have my passive income for the month of September.
The best way I keep track of my dividends and other income is by using Personal Capital. I highly recommended for you to sign up and start using their service. It is completely free and extremely helpful.
Taxable Account: $980.78
Retirement Account: $43.09
I updated my Passive Income page for the month.
Passive Income Report
I massive month of passive income!! I am super happy about this. I did think, however, that I was going to pass the $1,000 mark in my taxable account. It came in just $20 shy of that. December I will pass that mark! I am sure of it!!
However, my taxable account grew a nice 28.6% from September of last year. I already passed my total dividend income of $6,416.74 this year vs $5,817.73 last year. I am very happy about that.
Even though I did not get to that $1000 mark, $980.78 covers a lot of my expenses, so I am grateful to be in this position.
My retirement account continues to increase little by little.
In my Retirement account section, I am not including my 401k which has a value of a little over $40,000. I am only including my Roth IRA.
Rental income continues to be consistent. I do, however, plan to increase the rent for the January report. I plan to increase it to $750 a month.
How was last month for you been? Hit a new high in passive income? Please let me know, I hope you did!!
